An antique 48-star flag made of linen. Dates to 1915, shortly after the 48 star flag was first commissioned in 1912. Heavy patina and tatters add to its history and character. Preserved under UV-protective, reduced glare glass with acid-free matting. Gold leaf frame. Measures 14 x 16 inches including the frame.
