This is an antique 36-star silk flag. West Virginia and Nevada were admitted to the union in 1863 and 1864. The 36 star design is known as the Civil War flag due to the corresponding time period. This particular flag is an antique reproduction of the era, dating to the 1950s. It has been preserved under UV protective, reduced glare glass and acid-free matting. Measures 10 x 12 inches including the frame.
