Measures 21 x 30 inches including the frame. An antique 48-star flag made of muslin. Light fraying and staining. Dates to the 1940s. This flag was commissioned in 1912, as Arizona and New Mexico became a part of the United States, and was retired on July 4th, 1959 when Alaska became the 49th state. UV protective, reduced-glare glass and a Burl wood frame with gold detailing.
