A antique 46 star flag made of silk. Dates to 1908. The 46-star United States flag became official on a July 4, 1908, following Oklahoma's admission as the 46th state on November 16, 1907. It remained the official flag for four years, until July 3, 1912, serving under Presidents Theodore Roosevelt and William H. Taft. Measures 17 x 25 inches including the frame.
